RESIDENTIAL / SERVICE TECHNICIAN Must have 3 years minimum field experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and operational problems for new or existing furnace installations, humidifiers, return air filtration units, air conditioner compressors and evaporators, system controls, and conditioned air distribution systems.

- Replace damaged or failed parts including, but not limited to: thermostats, inducer fans, blower motors, electronic circuit boards, switches, air filters, water pads, flame sensors, flame igniters, burners, compressors, and evaporators, control wiring, etc.

- Clean furnaces, air conditioners, and humidifiers. - Complete final checks when the repair service or cleaning is complete to meet OPHC standards, including checking system pressure for fossil fuel, refrigerant, and heat exchanger integrity and testing all systems for operational reliance. Use a minimum of four (4) operating cycles to test the system.

- Accurately complete all documentation at the time of service and submit documentation to the office.

- Minimize “call backs”, rework, and charge backs.

- Ensure complete customer satisfaction on each service call.

- Requisition and re-stock truck daily based on the items used the prior day.

- Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by the Service Manager.

INSTALLER / APPRENTICE Candidate must have a minimum of 1 years of proven background in the HVAC industry.

- Assist equipment installations per layout and specifications:

- Assist with new furnace installation – including furnace removal structure, duct layout, fabrication, and installation including, but not limited too, bleeding old furnace, install ductwork and cold air returns as required to ensure adequate room ventilation and exhaust.

- Assist running low voltage and basic electrical wiring as necessary.

- Assist the installation of thermostats and wiring between thermostat and gas control valve, wire sub-panels when required, wiring between switches and energy sources.

- Help complete final checks when the installation is complete to comply with OPHC standards, including checking line pressure for natural gas, refrigerant, and testing all systems for operational reliance.

- Assist the completion of HVAC installation checklist.

- Assist with the completion of all project punch lists.

- Assist with the completion of all documentation at the time of project sign-off and submit paperwork to the office for review and filing. Documentation includes equipment type and/or description, manufacturer, product serial number, product model number, filter sizes, customer signed copy of the completed HVAC installation checklist, and any other pertinent data.

- Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned to you by the Lead Installer and/or Comfort Advisor.
